First update on my challenge to build a new pc.

Current Decision:

CPU - Intel Quad Core of some sort around 130 quid

Ram - 4GB PC2-8500C5 1066MHz   around 70   quid

Motherboard - P5Q Deluxe               around 130 quid

Been a while since i wrote anything so i thought why not put my blog that is read by millions of people (if i am lucky i get 2 friends to read it) to good use and get you guys out there to help me out building my new pc.

So far what I have decided:

CPU - Intel Quad Core of some sort around 130quid

Ram - 4GB around 100quid

I need to decide on the mobo and then what type of RAM ddr2 or ddr3

Mobo:

So the chipset will be P45 as it seems to be the best around at the moment, a lot of website rank the Asus P5Q - Deluxe  does any one suggest any other mobo and why?

Ram:

DDR2 or DDR3 what are ur opinions, i haven’t got a clue about this one.
